Last year 55 Service Users and Staff enjoyed Christmas Dinner at The Old Rectory in Wem, due to Covid we will be unable to get together this year so we are ‘Taking Christmas Dinner’ to our Service Users homes instead.

‘The Old Rectory cooked 65 Christmas meals that we delivered to our clients, and with very generous donations from the lovely townsfolk of Wem, our local Wem Coop, Fresh Clarity Accountants and the Dementia Action Alliance, we were able to deliver Christmas Hampers to the elderly in Wem and the surrounding areas’

We understand the impact Corona Virus is having on our Service Users, they are struggling with not seeing their families, which has left them feeling lonely and isolated.  We at Wishing Well are trying to fill that gap as best we can, we are offering more Companionship calls to combat the loneliness, along with additional shopping and cleaning calls.  All our staff have had Covid19 training and are fully equipped with PPE.  We all strive to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our Service Users and Staff.
